Book Closure Calendar

Why this matters: if you don't own a stock before its book closure date, you get nothing — no dividend, no bonus share, no AGM vote — even if you buy it the very next day. Watch for the "dividend trap" too: stocks often rally right before book closure on FOMO buying, then drop right after. Don't buy purely to catch a dividend without checking the underlying valuation first.
